Kristen Findley

Born and raised in Idaho, Kristen was entirely committed to downhill skiing, ballet, chess, and piano (in that order) until her family up and moved across the world to the middle east when she was 10. Forced to leave the ski slopes behind and embrace her new desert environment, she turned to running where she was met with enough immediate success to compete at a high level for the next 18 years and beyond.

Kristen ran cross-country and track at Vanderbilt where she set school records in the 1000m and the 1500m. After graduating with a degree in biomedical engineering, she went on to secure 4 top 10 USA Championship finishes including 4th place at the USA Road Mile Championships, 8th place at the USA Indoor 2 Mile Championships, 5th place at the USA Mountain Championships, and most recently 4th place at the Trail Marathon Championships, as well as competing for Team USA at the BUPA Great Edinburgh International XC Challenge with teammate Emma Bates.

She currently lives in Salt Lake City working for an AI-based pharmaceutical company and plans to race her first road marathon in the near future with hopes of punching her ticket to the 2020 USA Marathon Olympic Trials.
