IDP Sends Two to CIM!

Idaho Distance Project has two runners competing at the California International Marathon in Sacramento, California this Sunday, December 8, 2019. Micah Drew will be making his debut at the 26.2 mile distance. Erik Teig will be looking to improve upon his marathon PR of 2:26:47, and attempt to run under the Olympic Qualifying Standard of 2:19:00.

The CIM is a certified course and sanctioned by the USATF. It is also a Boston Marathon and US Olympic Trials Marathon qualifier. The race is scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m. PST. Runners will traverse a point-to-point course following a historic gold miners' round beginning at Folsom Dam, passing through suburban Sacramento, and ending at the State Capitol.
